| WELCOME to DERBY CATS We are a small CFA registered cattery established in 2007. We are located in the beautiful city of Shepherdsville near Louisville, KY. All of our cats are treated as family members; hand raised loved by my husband David, 3 our 5 kids (Kelsey, Lauren & Sean) that are still under our roof and myself Brenda Payne. Derby Cats is devoted to raising quality kittens guaranteed for health and temperament. Our kittens are raised in our home, not in a separate building. Siamese cats have been part of David and my lives since we were small children. When we first met we quickly realized that we both were raised with Siamese in the house. We got Cocoa our first show Premier cat in 2007 she was everything we ever wanted in a cat. She won finals in every show we went to and ranked regionally in both kitten and adult. You could easily say we were HOOKED! We have since then acquired 5 more cats and try to show at least once a month. Our hobby is breeding and showing wedge type Siamese, Colorpoint & Oriental Shorthair's. I only breed a few litters a year; I also show dogs and work full time. My ultimate goal is to breed better, healthy, friendly cats and to stay within the breed standard. We specialize in Show & Pet quality "wedge Style" CFA registered Chocolate & Seal Siamese, all 16 colors of Colorpoint's, solid ebony & Chestnut Oriental's. Hopefully soon we will have added bi-color's, calico's & tortie's to our breeding program. Pet, breeder or show cats are occasionally offered to select homes.
